Products

The first step is to determine if you would like your desk divider to be mounted permanently or temporarily to your work surface.  We offer a permanent top mount solution for all our dividers, but most of our mounting hardware options do not require drilling into your work surface.

We offer an edge clamp with a lever, an edge clamp with a knob, a low-profile edge clamp and a clamp that can be used to secure your desk divider to the middle of your work surface.  Take a look at our detailed clamp descriptions for our desk dividers.

Materials And Finishes

Yes, our products are manufactured to order in San Antonio, Texas and are available in multiple sizes. Check the product pages for more information.   You can also choose from a wide palette of rich colors We offer several products that are available in several sizes and materials.  To further customize your products, take a look at our resource page to review materials and finishes . Yes, use our handy price configuration tool on the product page to build your perfect product.  As you choose your product size, material and hardware, the price listed will automatically reflect what you have selected.

Yes, let us know which materials you are interested in and we will send samples to help finalize your product selection.  Please give us a call at 800-597-1195 or email us to request your samples.

All custom materials must be approved before the order can be placed. The COM Approval Form on our Dealer Resources page must be completed and samples must be sent to us for testing.

For custom fabrics, send us at least an 8” x 8” piece of your fabric and we will test it in our manufacturing process. Once testing is complete, we will contact you with the results. If your material is approved, we can then calculate the amount of fabric you’ll need for your order.

For custom laminates, just send us the manufacturer and part number. We will then provide you a quote for products using your specified laminate.

Yes, fabric panels do absorb some of the sound that impacts each panel.

Product Maintenance

Our Frosted Acrylic can be safely cleaned and disinfected with most non-abrasive cleaners such as:

  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Disinfectant sprays
  • Some Multi-Surface Cleaners
  • Mild Soaps

Another option for cleaning Frosted Acrylic is preparing a bleach solution by mixing:

  • 1/3 cup bleach per gallon of water OR
  • 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water

When cleaning Frosted Acrylic, always be sure to use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, such as a microfiber or lint free cloth, and apply light pressure only. Never use paper towels as it will scratch Frosted Acrylic.

Our Whiteboards can be safely cleaned and disinfected with mild soap and water, isopropyl alcohol, glass cleaner, and the following solutions:

  • Ammonia Solution (1/2 cup ammonia per gallon of water) OR
  • Bleach Solution (2.5 tbsp bleach per gallon of water)

When cleaning Whiteboards and Glass boards, always be sure to use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, such as a microfiber or lint free cloth, and apply light pressure only.

Our Fabrics can be safely cleaned and disinfected with:

  • Water-based foam or upholstery cleaner or dry-cleaning solvents
  • Disinfectant sprays

When cleaning Fabrics it is recommended to vacuum the material first. Never saturate Fabrics with liquids as it may cause a water ring. Always be sure to test cleaning solutions in a small, inconspicuous area first.

Our EchoScape™ can be safely cleaned and disinfected with mild soap and water, disinfectant sprays, and fabric or carpet cleaners.

When cleaning EchoScape™ with a fabric or carpet cleaner, always be sure to test it on a small inconspicuous area first.

Our Laminate can be safely cleaned and disinfected with mild soaps or household cleaners such as:

  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Disinfectant sprays
  • Multi-Surface Cleaners
  • Mild Soaps

Another option for cleaning Laminate is preparing a bleach solution by mixing 10% bleach and 90% water.

When cleaning Laminate, always be sure to use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, such as a microfiber or lint free cloth, and apply light pressure only. Rinse with clean water using a clean, non-abrasive cloth. Do not flood the laminate, especially near seams, since water can penetrate and cause the substrate to swell. Dry the surface with a clean, non-abrasive cloth.

Our Aluminum Frames can be safely cleaned and disinfected mild soap and water or a bleach solution of 1 tbsp bleach per gallon of water.

When cleaning Aluminum Frames it is recommended to use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, such as a microfiber or lint free cloth, and apply light pressure only.

Installation

You do not have to drill into your work surface to install our dividers.  We offer several different mounting options that make installation quick and easy.  Take a look at our detailed clamp descriptions for our desk dividers.

Our Room Dividers and Privacy Partitions ship fully assembled.  You only need to install the foot option.

Yes, we offer a universal hinge connector for both mobile and stationary panels.  We also offer a hinge that permanently mounts one side of your divider or partition to a wall. Take a look at our general accessories sales sheet for a complete description of each accessory.

Detailed assembly instructions are included with each TableUP base.  Assembly time is approximately 30 minutes.

Orders

Our standard lead times are approximately 2-4 weeks plus transit time.

Accessories ship within 1-2 days.

MergeWorks accepts checks, wire transfers and the following credit cards – Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Yes, we can accept your PO.  Payment must be made prior to order processing unless credit terms have been established.

Cancellations are subject to MergeWorks’ prior written approval and will only be accepted if the order has not entered production. Please check with our customer service department for more information.

Continental US Shipping Program

Flat freight rate of $250 per order, regardless of quantity.

****Additional over-size freight fee of $300 will be included on any order containing one or more products exceeding 84” in height or width. This is an additional freight charge*****

Accessories ship free no matter the quantity.
All Room Dividers & Dry Erase Boards ship fully assembled, except for foot options.

Carriers will be selected at the discretion of MergeWorks. The freight policy listed above does not include the following Freight Services.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine which, if any, Freight Services are needed at the time the order is placed. MergeWorks will bill the purchaser any additional charges for Freight Services that are not included in the Purchase Order at the full carrier charge, which may differ from the list below.

Appointment: Must be listed on PO and include appointment contact name and phone number. $0
Lift Gate: If there is no loading dock or forklift available to unload the order. Carrier will not break down or deliver inside. $85
Inside Delivery and Lift Gate: If there is no loading dock and freight needs to be delivered inside building (Delivery is only to first floor and up to 50ft inside door).  Lift gate service is required with inside delivery. $175
Limited Access: Required for locations that are restrictive to trucks entering the area, or require more time and coordination to unload.  Includes areas that are gated, secured or not open during normal business hours or require a smaller truck to access. $85
Residential Delivery: All residential deliveries must include Inside Delivery and Lift Gate and Limited Access Freight Services. $260

If you require air or expedited delivery service, please include that information on your purchase order and the additional freight charge will be added to your invoice.

Canadian Shipping Program

Flat rate of $400 per order, regardless of quantity.
Please include GST/HST tax on POs that ship to Canada, reference ship to Province for tax rate.
